When you complete Foundations for Life, you are part of a growing community of Believers who put a high priority on knowing what you believe, and why you believe it.
How can you make a difference? Do you need to stand on the street corner and preach? Do you need to quit your job and become a pastor or teacher?
No! The most effective way to make a difference is to be willing to simply make your faith a part of your daily discussions and conversation. The goal of Foundations for Life is to equip you for this task – to include faith in the conversation at work, in the home, with your friends, and at church.
You don’t need to quote a Scriptural reference everytime someone asks you a question. It is far more effective for you to present a balanced approach to your faith. You are a professional at work, and you know how to be respectful of the dialog there and with your friends. Showing this respect, while at the same time demonstrating a command of the details of your faith, gives you respect from your peers. What is important is that you are known as a person who is firm in your belief, able to discuss issues with wisdom and integrity, while being thoroughly professional in your work.
